Thanks for your comment & thanks for visiting!  Glad you liked the quote.  Sometimes there's a healthy fear (like backing away from a poisonous snake), and then there's a fear that keeps us from taking that next step in our development.  Sometimes I find I need to take a DEEP breath & go forward anyway...and after taking that next step, (looking back on what steps I've taken)...it really was in my best interest.

Thanks for your kind words, and thanks for the tidbit -- I didn't know about the phrase "fear not" was the most mentioned phrase in the Bible.  Now I do!  It's great to know that the quotes in my postings are useful...in fact, that's how I got started "blogging it."  I originally was just going to post quotes, but I couldn't keep "my mouth shut", I just had to comment on the quotes...and the rest, as they say, is history.

Great point & well said - (fear being the tool of Ego).  The two do seem to go "hand in hand"...just wish more folks could see that Ego uses any and all tools available to keep us in illusion & blinded to our true connection to the Divine.

The Quotes Help Put in Perspective
In addition, I heard a minister say that "Fear Not" is found most often in the bible than other phrase.  Healthy fear is that of a poisonous snake, other that trap us, is not good and we must face and think about it rationally. Nice post!

Raven -
Fear is a tool of the Ego. Of course, sometimes fear is necessary to keep us alive. But most times it is used by Ego to keep its control. Once I finally understood that, it is much easier for me to move through any fear that might arise.
