You are so very right on this matter. It was a big topic of discussion on Bill O'Riley last night. This judge needs to go. I looke for the victims family to rally around and make it a bigger issue. What is this man (I would call him judge, but he isn't a good one) trying to prove? There is no law that supports his position! He makes me ill!!

You are so right!

Way to often we try and turn (Common Sense) into rocket science! This is done by the people that are going to be the subject of one of my blogs. The people that are “educated beyond their intelligence!”  Can I say that is that, is that PC?

i-am-free this is a great comment.
I like  your ideas. I think one of our main problems is that we throw common sense out of the window when it comes to our justice system. The punishment for this crime in not severe enough. But in other cases we go the opposite direction. It would take some good people to change the system and we don't have that in our legislatures or court systems.

This is the tip of the iceberg!

In to many Federal, State and Local Jail Systems we are far to lenient. This is a result of liberal BS thinking. By the same token we don’t do the right things to rehabilitate people that commit the crimes. Liberal thinking would tell you the perpetrator is a victim and all you have to do is be nice to them and give them some money. Some conservatives would say lock them up and throw away the key. This is not rocket science and we don’t need a bunch of studies, we have compiled enough information about what works to change the system for the better.

It starts with education we need to educate our children on the law “after we fix some of it” and what will happen to them if they brake the law “after we fix some of it”.

I believe in a three strikes and its life program for most crimes. We have all heard the stories about some person with five or six DUI’s, or for and five time rapists, this is absurd! It is not fare to the populace and it is not fare to the person committing the crime. It is just that simple!

Depending on the crime on your fist offence you would automatically do some time and be helped really helped with your problem.

Second time automatically more time and more help real help.

Third time life.

I realize that this a very short and simple outline. Our problems come from making things way more complicated then they are in reality.
