I'm a big fan of Conversations With God, though it's been many months now since I've studied the material. You understood it well, I must say. Good job.

Thank you. It's great the things people who read you come away with. Always refreshing.

It's funny how we bring our own experience to interpret more esoteric . . .
. . .works such as this one.  In other words, this was thought provoking!!  Thanks for working my gray matter.  Here was my take: If you go along with someone else's beliefs out of fear that you won't be "saved," for example, that in itself can lead to your demise because you didn't learn from your own experience and make your mind up for yourelf.  You have to re-member your experiences in order to re-create your next experience.  You will only achieve freedom when you open your mind to all possibilities and then your own truth shall be revealed.

What I most wanted to convey here is that we think we do things to others, and experience 'getting the best of them.' It might be something subtle or overt- it doesn't really matter. Because, very simply, what we do in regards to others is what we ourselves experience.

Very evocative and thought provoking!  Well done post    Even though I've always liked the quote (gee, big surprise, huh?  a quote from me...lol)..."Before enlightenment, chop wood and do the laundry...after enlightenment, chop wood and do the laundry" - I do believe you've said it better in your posting.

I dont follow this post. I thought truth was also a consequence. And expectation can have a long history of working towards something or being ready for.

That's quite picturesque, avant-garde.   So, in reality, I am the hag throwing in the entrails and eye of newt myself.   I'm making my own mess of things.

Yes, in fact it is. How ironic, to have a game show by that name and I never thought about it before!

Then it's not "Truth or Consequences?"
