MayB
Ghost writing isn't going to do a lot for your portfolio. But. . , the proposition does sound a bit intriguing. You know, nobody SAYS you have to stay with him for a long time. Maybe if you were to write for him for awhile, he mind find that you were so indispensible that he would be able to raise your salary/wage later??

As you say, MayB, it isn't as if you need the experience, but you will be losing a lot of time that could be used on other things. It is amazing that he recognised your style from the others.

If he really wants you
he will up his price for you. He may be cheap... but he's not stupid.

The main benefit is not having to hawk for work. I would have something to do half the time which I know about and could afford to do what I want the rest of the time
