I would definitely let my family know that I love and appreciate them.
Then I'd ask that they live each day to the fullest, being mindful that tomorrow is not promised to any of us.

sunjae,
Absolutely...
Love is second only to God, but then, love is a part of God.

Temple,
It is hard to think about, but it's important. The end of life is just as important as how we've lived our lives, and our last words, given time to make them, leaves a lasting gift that time will never erode.

I would want them to know I didn't suffer.
I was glad he had thought of that. I would just probably say that I loved them, and mention certain people, and maybe write where my will is because nobody knows. I'd want to write a novel, I'm sure. Hard to think about.

Eileen,
I don't have confirmation yet on the novel, just a great chance.
You're right; this life is only the first journey.

MayB,
I think most of us would want our people to go on, living full, rich lives for themselves and in our memory. It's a very loving wish.

I am happy for you to know that your novel is going to be published. Congratulation! And about the last word I leave to my loved people would be "Do the best during your temporary lives. I am going for another journey. We'll meet there later. Forgiveme and I love you all", if I could.

Good post. My last words would be................
1) to tell the family that I loved them and tell them that the greatest gift they could me when I'm gone is to to live their lives to the full
