Yes, I should get him out once and for all.
As it is, I can barely find space to lie down for all of the cars, buses and trucks and did I mention all the crumbs that make it uncomfortable to lie down around here.

Cass, when that time comes,
I'm sure I'll remember you told me so.

LOL.  Get him out of your bed immediately, word, or he is liable to be forever traumatized by events.

Trust me, there will come a time when you will long for those innocent ditties, rather than having to sit through the latest horror movie or whatever teenagers are into. Actually I just go to bed...

Joe, good to see you!
Well it's about time you came back from vacation!  It's within the realm of possibility that he know his mother is a pack rat.

True, Ginnie
Those little ditties and songs have a way of keeping me in a good mood.

Offbeats,
As it happens, I do need a vacation.

hiya, Wordsmith
I think I remember you saying a few months back that you, in fact, are a packrat yourself!!!  You sure your boy didn't find out the definition from somebody talking about you???  Hmmmmmm.

LOL word!
That's what happens to parents...the only they end up listening to is the kids' stuff!  I hardly know any 80s music except the silly ditties my kids listened to and the only concerts we went to for years where children's entertainers!   It's fun though!

Tapsel,
I bet you're giving thanks that you don't have to be subjected to this stuff. Still I think watching fun stuff helps take away some of the stress.

MerryAnne,
I laughed at that one 'cause everybody recognizes Sesame Street! TV's always an option when the little ones are going crazy.

We don't get Sprouts here

but we have Treehouse TV.  Although I am trying to limit sometimes the urge to sedate the kids with TV is too strong.

BTW I also get strange looks when I am walking donw the street singing "Sunny Day!  Sweepin' the clouds away!"
