Well....I'm sure it will get entertaining around here.......

The claims (opinions) are going to flow...the brash statements(opinions) will be bandered about...and of course GW will be accused (opinions)  of being behind it all....LOL

Corbin,
I think both sides are going to have to answer for this. As I mentioned to OFFBEATS, some big names will be involved and that may serve to temper this whole deal. When  you hear Harry Reid's name in the mix you know some big timers might be going down. I would like to see a good, honest deal done here. I doubt that will happen.

His lawyers were saying that around 60 Congressmen were involved....

I've heard other numbers at around 20....

As with everything else in the news...it will take a bit of time to sift through the fluff and really see what went on..........if actual laws were broken then have at and and sock it to em.......

.But it looks like we have in front of us this month's menu for the feeding frenzy........we getting the appetizers now....coming up will be the entree.......it will be interesting to see which side finds it the most palatable.........

OFFBEATS,
Yes, I have seen the numbers. And the name you mentioned in your comment is one of the reasons why I think we will never get to the bottom of the whole sordid deal. There are too many well connected people involved to have much done I fear. I hope I am wrong.

Wislon,
I hope we can really get to the bottom of this scandal and week out the bad guys. That's not likely to happen though.

It should be pretty interesting for the next few months. I agree, doesn't matter what party they belong to, it needs to stop! What I find out rageous is the amount. I saw one number to Patrick Kennedy was something like $131 K...that's a lot of dollars!!! Or favors? Wonder what the rest received!

Nobody likes political corruption (except corrupt politicians)
But nobody likes a snitch either.
