Wislon, we don't keep prestigous company in this arena. I don't
understand how anyone thinks its okay for the State to take a persons life in a death chamber.  But then, I don't understand why people think its okay to kill a baby to correct a "mistake".

There are many pros and cons to the age-old argument over capital
punishment.  I once wrote a paper on the subject and anchored a debate on pro-capital punishment.  Although I don't believe it to be a deterrent to heinous crimes or even murder, nor do I care to share in that argument.   I believe in a balancing of the scales.   Killing is one thing, murder is another.   Where killing can be rectified by paying what is due to society and the family of the slain for the loss of a member (and the same argument can be made for murder), murder has the added element of premeditation.  Whereas restitution should be made for victim, I believe that someone capable of murder should in turn lose their own life.

I'm against.
I think people make mistakes and should be allowed to change their ways.
