If that is what you believe, than the post just went over your head. God and all of that are just man made titles being given to what we can not explain.  God is the true snipe hunt.  Searching for something more is not.  Once you accepted any religious concept such as God you are actually giving up the search and allowing for someone else's beliefs to become your own.

Rigid and inflexible beliefs have NEVER helped humanity grow, but has caused stagnation and created the real problems that keep holding us back.  All one needs to do is really study history to see this. Even just the story of Jesus is the story of a man who's beliefs were abel to change and not stick with the status que.  Jesus himself was a free thinker and said we needed to think differently if we are going to grow.  Interesting that most of his modern followers seem to insult him by not seeing the greater lessons that can be learned from studying his story.

It is clear that you just are unable to grasp the actual idea of my post.  But I will expect that anyone following strong religious concepts will have the same problem.  They have already given up the real search that we should all be working on and gone for the easier path that gives them false comfort.

Kooka, if a person doesn't believe in God or a higher power/ordering force
I can't see how this search you speak of is anything more than a snipe hunt.  Actually, I think to truly have a firm foundation in theirs belief and a true sense of fulfillment at the end of the road a person, by neccesity will be rather rigid and inflexible in their views.  That doesn't mean they'll look down on others, just that they'll know what the "free thinker" is missing.  Its like watching a baby gain perception of the world around them.

kooka,
the search for answers wears me out at times.  Just when I think I found the answers, the questions change and the answers no longer do.  Good post.
