Kingmi, this is an excellent post.
My husband and I both were in Alanon for years. We now do outreaches, he works Saturdays with men and I work with the women who are still in rehab.
I work with a group who work to mainstream, get jobs, help them to understand how to function as a family without drugs as they get back their children. There are programs for every stort of need. Some are ready and some are not. Each has a mentor which comes after the sponsor and we see unusual results so often.
I have seen some absolutely wonderful results and some deadly ones.
