Great advice. I also think that to be spiritual besides reading spiritual books and attending spiritual classes, etc. we must live as spiritual beings. We must take what we learn and incorporate it into our daily lives. And of course, we must learn to love ourselves. If we don't love ourselves why would we think others would?
