We teach by example and we teach them while they are young. Children will always remember how their parents or other adult figures acted in different situations.

Marshall, I know. It seems that it's the attitudes of the current generati
on that seem so dangerous.  We have lots of diverse groups, but none that are dedicated to the destruction of the other.

the Arab - Israeli conflict...
is very complex...i don't know if this will ever end...i have studied Jewish culture and religion and i have been confronted by Muslim culture too (my first kid's dad was a black muslim)...both ideologies cultures and religions are close and very opposite at the same time...

I homeschool, that way my children learn what is right and what is wrong.
We put God in the center of our learning!  This country was based on a belief in Him...I like your points....Thanks for sharing.

Munich - hasn't arrived in the cinemas here yet...
But I am looking forward to seeing how it portrays times of past. As with most movies, I suspect, it may have tried to cover too much without covering it in depth - this is how I read your comments about the movie itself.

Difficult, Yet Not Impossible
We must start with one heart at a time, one home at at time, one community at a time, etc. with the truth and help with the understand of facts and fiction.

ms braddock, I appreciate your reading and commenting. I aalos have a
great fondness for Le Petit Prince, being a former French teacher.  You have sparked a divine memory and a new resolve to "tend my planet" as a matter of self-discipline.

Teaching children
right from wrong begins at a very basic level at home, yet it is true that many children aren't getting the right kind of education at home.  Those of us understand the difference between right and wrong have a big job ahead of us.  It is up to us to fight for our individual rights as well so that we too aren't discriminated against in our endeavor to raise our children and grandchildren in a more positive and loving world.
