Well I am 62 and my new beau is in his late30's to early 40's is that taboo? I dont know but its going good for us right now and I dont know if the kid can keep up with this old gal hehe

It sounds like you are conversant with hurt regarding relationships. There are all kinds of men. The frivolous, self-indulgent ones you decry are easy to find, and easy to lose. The others take more effort. Younger men with an older woman is no longer really taboo unless perhaps it's sixty with a twenty-something--but even then...love is complex and many-faceted. You try to find what pleases you and meets your needs, you give as good as you get, then you hold on with commitment. Now, isn't that simple? Have a Merry Christmas and a prosperous, productive New Year.
