I agree about the changing weather patterns. We have a lot of snow here in Eastern England at the moment but the shadows dancing in this room at the moment are just terrific.

Winter sunshine is nice. At the moment I'm hiding from our summer sun which is going to be incredibly hot today! Hope you had a lovely Christmas.

Weather is highly underrated as a source of sublime pleasure. I take great pleasure, too, in watching the shifting patterns of the sky over the water here, one minute dour and dreary, bleak and the next luminous and ineffable. Merry Christmas!
