I don't want to know how you broke your tailbone. But, I've heard it's very painful, so go easy on it. I'm glad you're all right. Wrecks can really screw up your day (week).

Yes, its beauty cannot exist without what makes it beautiful. In seeing it this way, what appears ugly takes on beauty, as well.

Yes, it sometimes appears ugly and monstrous, but it exists that way for a reason.

People simply want  or  do not like easy things in our world I have come to discover, hence they race after solutions that  hurts them the most. It is like family values, instead of helping family unity some advocated massive divorce, the consequence is that, there is a crop of wild  and wayward  generation that we  are breeding today. Interestingly or not, it is just in France. It is a global problem. On this , thanks  a million for your unflinching support and Please do accept  my warm greetings and Merry  Christmas  in  advance.

That is true. But, as the storm is 'self-created', the peace that follows is timeless and who we really are and have never 'lost.'

You can't think your way out, because more thought will strengthen it. This is why analysis does not solve problems. Seeing your thoughts requires calm, quiet observation without interference. For most people, this is asking too much.

....we probably misunderstood each other. Most of the time we are powerless over the external storms, and they are very real, but very transient.  our reaction to them, the storms within, are within our power I think...that is God's compassion and His gift, the awareness that you can tame your storm, and embrace your ilse of peace....we are as at One with God and each other as we allow ourselves to be.

posted by MysticGmekeepr on December 19, 2005 at 11:50 AM | link to this | reply

MysticGameKeeper,

This is where we differ, I believe.   I am not saying that I am not finding peace, that the storm doesn't subside, but that I, myself, although, it is my thinking and emotions that have partly created the storm, as well as events in the past and my own and others reactions to them.

The storm itself was no mirage and I did not have the power to end it.  That power belonged to God, who had compassion for me, and provided the calm and the peace.

Deep thought
how often do we stumble upon the truth that we have created the "storm", that we are creating its isle of refuge also.

I should have been more specific.I had an experience that was hand in hand visual and words to understanding. And the visual gave what the words felt and the feeling gave the words.

This may have complicated it, it was like a demonstration, then Eureka it is real. Doubt was in the way and that is the memory part I meant.

Just thought now, that, if you base your truth on experience, then you limit, to experience truth. Like bad patterns and habit sense.

anyway thanks again,

Avant-Garde,
I wish I could think myself out of a tempest.  It may be of my own creation, those storms and confusions, but the drowning is real, the storm-tossed confusion is real, and there I am on the beach, gasping for air, calling out to the One who hears and heals.  I do not have that power.

Beautiful and even poetic...
i keep asking myself how many internal storms i have to calm down in order to reach that state of mind...

You are a visual learner. I am not. I need quiet, and words to think on. There is no right or wrong way to learn. We are all unique.

Once you have realized that you created your 'problem', and corrected it by seeing how it was created, you can 'remember' the healing that occurred when entangled in it again.

Letting go of the thinking that created it is the essential first step. This removes the motive force from it, and enables sight to happen.

The truth is what you see as a result, the vision that releases what never was real, but only believed to exist.

Isn't it frustrating how we continually forget that we create the problem as well as the solution?

Is the experience and the knowing, or truth, hand in hand. Or seperate as a choice.

I ask because I am wondering if this can be known, your writing, and not experienced.
