Flame-Thrower,
I am not sure of the mortality rate of Iraqis under Saddam Hussein?? It seems that right now it is as high or higher??

Fine article, but I honestly found no justification for you including racism in it because as you claim there are no whites against what you term the killing of Browns in Iraq. My question, what will or have said about the 300 thousand deaths in the hands of Saddam Hussein? I really like the way you write I will always read you as from now.

I'm glad you've found a supporter in bud-oracle.  I'm overwhelmed by the mere physical weight of his words.  Words indeed can be powerful, as witness my sometime mentor, Thomas Paine--but the more powerful words seem to become in our time, the more easily the powerful seem able to snuff out the voices that utter them--or at least undermine them so greatly amongst the faithful "base".  It's the end of another year, and I'm getting older.  I feel played out myself right now.  I just want to wish you a productive and effective New Year.  Be well.

Thanks for stopping by Glennb, your insights are valuable to me.

Yes, I agree with that sentiment inmost respects.  George's actions are are about evil and not good for many, but who knows what will become of the action/reaction experiment bover time.

I believe every moment is an opportunity to follow a course of action. Probably more than you, I believe in the personal redemption of even Lucifer himself.

That's what I meant by saying that if "God" touched George W (let us say he repents tomorrow) then I and Billions of others will look seriously at Christianity as a powerful force for good on the planet. It's that simple.

If GW stood up and truly repented, put an honest effort at righting this wrong, and went on to be a uniting progressive, benign, force for humanity, their would be a conference of power on to this man's religion which has never been seen before.

Your religion doesn't bring up the past when you truly repent does it? Once forgiven by god you are born again. Even Someone as truly guilty of doing evil things as George, the torturers, anyone on the planet will be washed clean in the eyes of god and it's not for you to hold judgements.

Wouldn't the redemption of GW be a blockbuster movie, too! The lord of the Christians touches GW and others in his administration and he becomes a law abiding redeemed leader of men. He and his God gains the respect of millions and the glory does got to God, eh.

Bud-Oracle,
No! The solution is so close! But how does a "coward" grow a pair if he does not have the seeds??

Glenn thanks for comment. I ever glad you and I are not in a shout-out!

Boy are your words accurate and sharp........ I find myself in the unenviable position of bringing people to their knees with piercing rebuttal, far beyond mere retaliation, and I suspect that you and I share that.

Only suspect because to be an abuser, you have to be taught. Maybe you were lucky.

The very worst verbal abusers are those that poses a keen wit, a good vocabulary, a large physique, a dominant personality and extremely articulate loud voices.

The ones who can still claim to have friends, live a calm life without hate, with empathy, even if all else fails, can honestly say that they have suceeded. It doesn't matter from what, to what state, one comes in life, only the amount of movement is important.

I appreciate that Corbin is a small fish and plays out quickly. At times, I'd like to take a ballpeen hammer to a certain Texan, it would only add to my problems, though.

The first time that I ever blogged on Macleans, (all gone now, from Google) in the beginning of Nov, I actually (unless they were decieving me, to blame me for their adiction) convinced (it was a pot forum) a ranting Christian to try pot. This is how it must be done. One by one the Hawks must dive. Shit I've just thought of several Hawk stories for my pets blog.

This one is just a line or two. I had cranked my way from launch on top of a 1300 foot ridge about a thousand over the top. Almost all the way with a golden Hawk. At times, in the rock and roll air, my vario was pegged out and beyond 1100 ft/min up. He was so close at times, I could look right into his raptor's soul through that dark keen eye. He was in profile at the same bank angle, in the same turn as I. As his variable geometry, self adjusting wings revealed their inflight secrets to me,  he measured our relative closing distances and he being the better pilot, I left it to him to avoid the midair. When he reached what I assume was his best hunting altitude, we were in that 10 foot distance ring. I was looking him right in the eye and he was at me, in a momentary last glance, as if he was just had seen something. He looked back at me to say goodbye. Then he looked down and in the same instance, tucked his wings in. That big, bright bird (at least 3 ft maybe 4ft wingspan) dissapered in a long second against the ground clutter. He must have accelerated to 250-300 mph instantly, by the way he became an ever-shrinking dot.

Yes, Glenn, there is dignity in watching a Hawk doing his/her thing. There is a season to everything, war, as well as peace.

We only have to let Corbin do his thing and you do yours, I do mine and we all try to let reason prevail.

It's the only sane way. Even Georgie could repent, change his way. I'd be ready to forgive him and move on as would every reasonable man and woman in the world. Boy would that ever take the wind out of the Terrorists sails, eh!

If he had the cojones to withdraw with dignity, try to right the wrong (as you were good to Japan), take the heat, that would more than make up for the mistake. He could virtually take on, the rage of those who would try to nuke you. I would stand by that man to the very last moment. I would respect George for having come the longest distance in life, of any human that I've ever heard of. He would have achieved the "impossible".

He would have transformed himself (or his God-I would respect that god as well) from abject coward to the bravest man in history.

This would be the ONLY man that I would say stands a chance of leading the world. You really don't need brains for that, all you need is universal respect. HE WOULD HAVE IT. GUARRANTEED

I WISH I HAD A CHANCE TO WISPER IN HIS EAR. HE WOULD TAKE ME A LONG WAY, BECAUSE NO MATTER WHAT HE ASKED OF ME I WOULD RESPECT HIM AS THE GREATEST LEADER OF ALL TIME. No one could deny him that, and the world would follow the USA into a new era for humanity.

Yah, you're right I'm pretty high on good BC budd.................. But is what I'm saying crazy?

Renegade3,
No it is I who am confused! Have you heard the tepid protest of "White" folk? I am talking about dragging these people out of my "White" House in leg irons. Taking back America from thes war criminals! That would be "real" protest!
