What's wrong with Christmas?
Maybe I have been living overseas too long, but what in the world is wrong with saying "Christmas dinner?" I mean, really. We can have "Channukkah dinners" and "Kwanzaa dinners" and "Ramadan break fasts" can't we? Why do we have to resort to this bland erasure of all the holidays and blending of all the diversity that makes us unique. I like the differences we have in our culture and the rich variety it brings to our food, music, traditions, etc.

About that retirement lunch - maybe you'd have been presented with a gold watch! 28 years ought to be worth a gold watch! Do they still do that? If they do, let's hope it's a Rolex.

I do love those flying knives and steak and shrimp. Nice pix. Nah, let's not be politcally correct. OK with you? It's MERRY CHRISTMAS and I WISH YOU THAT!
