My seeds are coming up pretty well that I planted several weeks ago. We are having weather in the 30's. I think the seedlings will be fine though. I want to get a jump on the growing season. It's still a ways off for the basil though.

My mum always wants to be in the garden despite the cold just to be waterin
the plants in the mroning. She won't listen even if it affects her health

Hi Tapsel-T,
We can go some winters down here without getting too cold. We had a cold snap early and we have more cold on the way. I know it gets cold up in your area. I just hate to see my beloved plants bite the dust. It is part of the cycle though.

Hi FactorFiction,
I took some time off to work and write more than I had been doing before. I have finished a manuscript for a novel and began on a second one. I have written quite a few short stories. I have gotten my life back to a simpler time. I feel great and my outlook on life is much better. The storms did us up bad, but we are fine and things will work out for the best. Thanks for the read. I will continue to post.

I just noticed you were around again... I had wondered how you made out on the bayou, even before the storm. Glad to see you posting again! I would like to have a garden again someday... it's a lot of work though... maybe next year I could convince my kids to help me start one at this house?
