Thanks for the comments!

Xenox, any un-comments on Flamethrower's thoughts? Or are you one of those folks to whom all the world is a blissful paradise except for a Republican-led United States?

I like your thought about the poverty-striken country - in the midst of an economy that won't stop growing, 4,000,000 jobs created, record house sales, rising stock market, dropping consumer prices, etc., etc., etc.

OFFBEATS, this war goes even beyond what you describe. Now we have McCain and his bill of rights for our enemies. Congress falls all over themselves to vote for it, while so many of them treat our military with contempt.

Miss Nobody
Needs to visit countries where conditions are really bad regarding human rights!. I can not recall a war where prisioners were treated with kid gloves. The enemy needs to be treated as the enemy and whatever it takes to get information out of them is what we need to do. I do not believe you can kill someone with kindess!

Bush undermines a lot of constructive things.

and if he isn't stopped, he'll (actually it's not him -- he's just a puppet of big money interests) ruin the world in more ways than you can imagine

we'll have a poverty stricken country powerless sitting in the middle of a big economic mess and a polluted planet where it will be too late to bring anything back to its original state of healthiness.

Mrs Arbour and her UN something must be ignored together with all her tantrums against the US. The organisation that she leads has the following countries at executive positions: Libya, Cuba, Iran and Zimbabwe. What has she said about the Records of these countries in term of Human rights?.
