Tina, as a member of Blogit
for some time now, I would say that Blogit is a give/take kind of place. There is no writing professor here who is obligated to read and critique every post. Many people here are writers, some are journalists, and some are just here for something to do. My poetry blog was never my most popular blog, but people do read it. You have to read other poets poetry blogs, and hopefully they will start visiting your blog. There are many very talented poets on Blogit, so I wouldn't discount the credibility of the site because nobody read your first post. You need to read blogs and others will read yours. Anyway, hope this is helpful to you. Take care!

You can post your poetry anywhere, but you'll probably post it in the Poetry section, and ask others for comments on it.
There are many people in here, I'm sure, who would offer you objective criticism of you work. All you have to do is ask.
Don't give up, but try that.

You may post writing by creating a blog under the Poetry section.
A blog is the equivalent of posting your regular column online and writing in a particular category, whether it is as specific as politics or poetry, or something more general such as opinion where you can share your views on any number of topics.
Therefore, each blog is home for all your writing along a certain theme or category. You may add new posts (entries) to each of your blogs as often as you want. Each new post or entry will show up on top and earlier posts will move down to the bottom.
Please click on the Write link and follow the steps to get your blog set up and then start posting your poems to it on a regular basis. You may also wish to check out the Poetry category by clicking on the link for Poetry on the home page, and the Blogit Help page on increasing views of your work by clicking on the Help section.
If you do not feel Blogit is what you are looking for, you may cancel your subscription at any time so that you are not charged again. Please email us if you have any other questions.
Thank you.
