You're damn right I'd sign it!
Eminent domain and it's misuse, especially the New London case, has been a thorn in my craw for some time. It would almost be worth moving there just to sign that petition.

This whole recent trend of Emminent Domain is the latest dangerous, dangerous wrinkle in the push to turn our constitution into a "living document", which is essence will mean no constituion at all as it will be used and manipulated and twisted and turned to suit the purposes of those in power at any given time. Take away private property, take away the right to bear arms---take away---take away. The writing is on the wall. We MUST SEE IT. Thanks to writers like you, some will.

I hear you........Imminent domain was never intended to enhance a communities tax base by seizing property........the real intent was for things needed for the community good.......

This decision gives free reign for greed and the wealthy and powerful to determine who lives where. Your home is your own until someone with more political clout decides they want your property. What's next? Indentured servitude? A Trail of Tears? This is utterly ridiculous.

Corbin Dallas,
There are plenty of crazies around here! This is the initiative of a nut, obviously. But that is what America is about! Making Government "accountable" for it's acts against it's citizens! Great post!

I really am against eminent domain but there
are probably times when it could be used but over the last few years I have seen some TV programs of people losing good homes. Looks like urban renewal gone bad
