Talion - I'm hearing you and I may have to attempt to crush 4 beer cans on
my forehead as pennance. I have a few posts written with more than a little hint of disdain found within them. I could self justify about 3 posts into this little dispute, before realizing how insignificant the value of this contrived competition was. It was adults playing king of the hill on a picnic table as if they were 8 years old. Then they started putting the boots to the perpetual loser. I wouldn't stand for it then and I won't now. The Marquis of Queensbury rules dictate that after giving them a good clubbing, it is imperitive that the adversary be given a period of time to re-consider if they want to continue with the bout. That's how the premise for the rounds in boxing was developed. Hey, I didn't see anyone else using any rules, I figured to follow at least some guidance if I was going to wade into the fray. The Marquis of Queensbury rules had seemed to replace the site user agreement for a time. I began seeing in myself a person deriving too much fun from revenge and far too much blissful glee from seeing the preacher chased out of town under a hail of rocks. I can do better.

I've been done with it since before it started. I've never written a post aimed at a specific blogger and I'm not about to start now. However, I do have a post planned on the subject of tolerance, but it shall contain no references or cheap shots.
