I didn't like to switch to XP initially because of the need to activate the software in its early release. I understand that now there isn't any need to activate it, is that right?

Our company was forced to switch from 98 to XP in order to run our estimating programs.  XP is a bit more user friendly, in my honest opinion.  I can only confirm a few of the tips as I don't use all of the applications mentioned.  This probably isn't much help, but my transition was worth it!
