Avant-garde,
A street person's anguished cry for a recognition of his humanity, for grief over what his addiction has cost him, teaches me again to value every moment, not to waste time in regrets, and you are right, it is in giving that I am given, life and humanity.  I no longer ask why, but just say, "Here I am".

It's funny how we get to places without remembering why we set out. i feel that way now that I have won a place for that story. I know I don't comment every day but I do read

WASHING WITH RAIN.
Very well written into its moment of expression; expressed upon any dry land that would be in need of rain.

It all depends on what is valued. Being defenseless is making the statement that what is happening is not real, and thus requires no justification.

Struggling teaches that strength comes from being defensive. The opposite is true.

This is good, and well-stated--but it also sounds just a bit like "Thank you, sir.  May I have another?"

Simply one of your very best. WAHT an excitingly excellent way of presenting an affectionate lined cased? Once again well done.

Avant -
Struggling is futile. Resistance is futile (as the Borg say) as well. Resistance is what keeps the illusion going. The more we resist, the stronger it gets. Only when we stop struggling, release and go with the flow, will the illusion begin to dissipate.

You are indeed a wise man. We are all down with respiratory viruses. Noah and I are the latest victims. Cameron got hers yesterday, and Sam and Luke are pulling out of theirs. Thank you so much for asking.

Hey Avant

thanks, one thing I try to do when reading your posts is to see it related to my experiences, this is the only way  it has any sense to me.

How is Noah and the family doing?
