Thanks SincerityAnna
I've talked to a number of people who have had bad side effects from Wellbrutin, so far it doesn't seem to have affected me at all good or bad.

jollyjeff,
Be careful w/ that wellbutrin...my doctor put me on that stuff to help me quit smoking...as it is also a smoking cessitation aid...and calms mood swings...OMG...that stuff made me feel crazy as could be...made me feel like there was something wrong with me...like I really had a chemical imbalance or something...and if you read the little paper that comes with the pills...OMG...that stuff can increase, rather than decrease, suicidal thoughts and feelings of hopelessness. If you seem to have gotten worse since you've been on it then it may be the drug, and you may need to try something different...be careful please...

Remember your own words...
your Celebration of Depression post...hell it worked for me, why shouldn't you take your own advice?

Cuddling is great therapy......get lots and lots of it when you can!

Jeff
So sorry to hear that things still aren't going any better. I hope that your psychiatrist can help you out tomorrow. Honestly I haven't heard many good things about Wellbutrin. My sister tried it when she attempted to quit smoking and she went insane. Really, I mean she didn't have depression to begin with but wow, I had stay away from her. Other's I've known who were on it also had a bad time of it. The hunt for the perfect med is so frustrating, but it's out there!!

In my case Ariala
it feels more like a physical illness--a lot like having the flu. No vomiting or anything but feeling weak, tired, and out of it, having a hard time concentrating or focusing.---The first time I had depression they had trouble diagnosing me for just that reason. They tested me for everything diabetes, thryroid, heart disease. I think the only thing they didn't test me for was pregnancy:)

Jeff, sorry you're going through this...your comments to me never
sound depressing, but then again, what does depression sound like?
