- Go to MY WIFE'S GRANDMOTHER AND I GOT INTO A POLITICAL DEBATE
welcome to the world of realpolitik
I've had similar situations.
had a virtual screaming contest (your mom will attest to that) with a lab tech of the Catholic faith over the Musical HAIR.
also with a few relatives and in-laws over certain political and religious issues.
but that's behind me now -- I've seen that family peace if very important.
but regarding your Father-in-Law -- is it possible that he is against unions.
I never brought this up -- but maybe this is the time
at our brewery here, under the Teamsters Union, my stepdaughter here could have gotton as a part time worker starting out with wages almost equal to your father-in-law after working -- how many years? -- at that non-union brewery out there.
and our beer costs the same as your beer.
what does that tell you?

Kooka...
I agree with you and I don't understand why people in you grandmother's situation still defend Bush and his policies. I have friends like that too. They don't have a pot to piss in and this administration is cutting the very programs that would benefit them. But, hey they don't have to worry about a gay married couple living next door. Screwed up priorities. Great posting!

Yep
I hear you loud and clear when it comes to the "sticking their fingers in their ears" act.
