Thank you for this. I loved the line: Try to find a place within yourself to work out such things. I do indeed try to do this or let it all out on paper/screen. I think we allow ourselves to be made to feel guilty but I have met many people whose modus operandi has been to do precisely that to me.

Thank you. I'm pleased you enjoy the way I try to share in order to provoke thoughts.

Thanks for your comment. I had a branch on a tree where I used to hide away for hours, talking to the birds and protected by the non-judgemental leaves.

You are so right, Malcolm, and that's what I do most of the time.

I'm pretty close-mouthed and don't say too much of what I'm thinking.

Thanks, Malcolm, for the visit today, I'm glad you enjoyed the jokes.

malcolm--
I got to see Stevie Wonder in person once, and stood four feet away from him while he told a couple of technicians how he wanted certain things blended.  You are right, as he was: it makes no sense to tell someone like the president, especially one like Bush, that you don't agree with him and you think his priorities for America are regressive and destructive.  Try to find a place within yourself to work out such things, and maybe your voice can be heard in an influential way in other contexts.  Thank you for your comment on my site.  I think we make ourselves feel guilty.  I'm not sure others want us to feel guilty.

Interesting...........We had such a big family growing up that I would often sit in the closet to get away from everyone else.
