thanks guys
I know I sounded kind of 'Scroogy' and I was somewhat regretting that post. I had a funny experience concerning this yesterday-- I got in the car and some really nice music was on the radio. I started listening to it and it was about angels and sounded kind of Christmas-ey but nice. I looked at the digital radio display to see what station it was and there was a blank spot where the readout should have been. What? No Station? Are these angels singing to me without a radio? I kept glancing at the readout and puzzling over it. Then the next song came on (no commercials) and it was just as nice. I thought, maybe my husband put satellite radio in the car to surprise me, but nooooo

I kind of get what you're saying, but hey, it's only 1/12th of an entire year. Think of it this way. It's kind of like car horns, helicopter engines, big band swing muzak in your elevator, screaming babies on a bus, barking dogs, your neighbour's stereo.... It's here to stay.... Ear plugs, my friend, ear plugs....

You better not pout...
I think about three days before Christmas would be fine. I mean, how many times can Grandma get run over by that damn reindeer?

They start playing it a little early for my tastes.... some stations have
gone 24/7 until Christmas. That's an overdose.
