Of course, it is nothing. How else can it vanish when looked at?

I think I came here feeling old in spirit. I was tired of the status quo before it was foisted upon me. Thanks so much.

I was more taken by this

"great revolution that contains no violence or upheavel- only a glad rejoicing?"

Wonderful post.   Especially liked - "nothing to hide because there's nothing to fear."  Great food for thought!

avant-garde, whether a mask or a fig-leaf apron, we only fool ourselves.

Fear of other's judgements
is the main thing that holds a lot of people back. I suspect that the people who are most afraid of being judged are the ones doing the most judging.

Avant-Garde,

It's easier to disown judgment from others, I believe, when "judging" is not according to being popular or appeasing someone else's whims or griefs, but according to one's own internal spirit of right and wrong, and forgiveness of self and others for past mistakes and grievances.

To "judge" means to "accuse, try and condemn", without compassion.  One must have compassion for oneself before having it for others, and put down the masks, when they no longer are necessary to hide the sensitive face underneath.

Your words are encouraging. I might have to self-publish the material and create a web-site for it. It is my dream, and I see myself there. The only hindrance is creating a foundation, as Ciel explained. Thanks so much for the read.

It really is astonishing that we fear what we have disowned. It appears to lie outside us in conditions and events, but in reality it is something denied and thought abandoned.

If I can explain this clearly, perhaps you will not struggle to hold onto the ashes of a fire that has expired.

Seeing is always in the moment. It leaves when the moment is over. But it is not gone, and does not reside in memory. It is seen again in the movement of the mind when it is in action.

It may be hours later or days later. You might be talking to someone, or perhaps doing something ordinary and it will hit you like a ray of light, illuminating your consciousness. It is perfectly natural and cannot be forced.

Relax and you will begin having these much more frequently.

Yes, of imagined power. Yet, the desire for power comes from the conclusion that it is not there. True power comes when false power has been seen for what it can never be.

Avant

after reading some of your posts just now, I now am thinking how when I read your posts, which I am sure are spiritual give every sentance a type of philosophy, or truth. And how I create or give my own truth when not following your words reading. This likely is more right or wrong than truth, I wonder if you were reading and understanding and creating a wheel for this all to flow.I have had some deep insights and most were an experience, when I read your posts it seems all are deep insights and seeing is other than the experience or compliments of each.I  realized how everything you write has so much so simple, but the experience or insight is not with the reading or not fully caught, like people who agree and turn their backs and only agree when communicating.

I think what you write is great, I  am trying to question myself here, and my insight.

thanks
