Bud-Oracle, Is that you Rich, white wolf and gardens and stuff?
If it is, I have missed you....if it isn't, you have a doppelganger in Arizona or the southwest somewhere. May your unstructured life lead you down the path of happiness, if this is what happiness consists of for you. My happiness depends upon sobriety at this point and I am finding joy in the experience. It was like being stoned, after so many years, being sober was an altered state for me and a real trip in itself. Wow, I did this sober, what a rush!! Like that.

Temple, she looks like my Baby and appears to act exactly the same.

I bought a mesh muzzle because she always yelled at me while I changed channels, deciding what to watch, until I couldn't think and until my old dog began to cry in agony. She did the same as I tried to say good-bye to friends in the driveway...barking so that we couldn't hear each other.

I put the muzzle on Baby and she was upset at first and then just stood next to me. I took it off immediately and then put it back on when she began to yell at me about having put the muzzle on her. She does this toothy threatening (fake) bark, which I think is not good for us.

So, I put it on and took it off of her about ten times last night, saying the same thing each time, "Be quiet!" Never left it on long, as she's so young. I woke up this a.m and found it chewed upon my pillow. She had stood on tippy toe, pulled it off the topshelf and chewed it to bits and then carefully placed it upon my pillow without awakening me, Amazing.

Cute photo....crazy doggies.

My white wolf and I

I’ve owned a 30 acre vineyard when I was young, kept a half dozen vegetable gardens, and have grown pot for nine years. I love to garden and my gardens tend to profusion with little structure, like my life.

Teddy Bear guts are the worst next to pillow stuffing, ya know?
Ah, puppyhood. Gotta love it.

I finally met Lindsey, or Kitty Lippers, Spitfire's puppy...

Oh boy, what energy.  She liked to sleep on my head, eat my hair, lick my hair....something about my hair.  I couldn't have the doggies in my room with me because of my allergies, but they laid all over me when I was in the other rooms.  Sometimes, Linny would just listen to me with those big brown eyes and be calm.  But, she was so excited for the first day or two I was there....I was covered in bruises when I came home!

FlightPath, oh yes, she ripped it up because I was gone.

When I came home, she kept bringing me toys and pushing them onto my lap. Right now she is pushing a  soccer ball onto the keyboard. While I ate dinner, she kept shoving a blankie onto my plate. She is ON ME  24-7 since my return. She missed me very much.

She gets onto my bed when I get into it. Makeda, my old dog, has first place in the bed. Baby goes down to the foot of the bed and starts to sleep, but wakes up about 30 minutes later and climbs out of the bed.

She finally goes to sleep under the bed where she used to sleep before I left. The first few nights that I was back, she would get up on my bed and sit on my head every four hours or so. She is such a goofy puppy.

When I drive off now, a howling starts up and it sounds as though they have found me dead.....despair in their howls. I try to return quickly now, no more than one hour away. There is a party when I walk in the back door, coming home....
