babe, it depends what your prior
life experiences were, depends on if you see the nuclear family, 1950's style, as a sham built on hypocrisy. That was my my experience. Nothing much in our current culture has changed my mind about that. So, as a result, I was looking for creative alternatives. Being an artist opens you up for that sort of thinking and I was an artist.

It has been a few days since I read this entire blog and perhaps I skimmed some of it, since it is quite lengthy. Perhaps I don't understand the situation. I don't think I could tolerate Friedrichshof or someone like that Otto. And I cannot fathom why someone would be so eager to join the group. Makes fascinating reading, though.
