- Go to WORRY & THAT CONCERT!
Thanks guys for stopping by and sharing your thoughts with me.
I managed to take my own advice this weekend. I worried about the concert because if we went on over a certain time, the people who live in the area would be down our throats. It ended at 12:15 a.m. By turns, I worried and prayed over the situation. It worked out well.
I'll be round to visit you all in a while.

I'm one of the biggest worry warts around the place!
I try not to worry, but I just think too much about everything even when I know it won't really matter in the near future! Anyway, just catching up on some reading (and writing!) hope you had a lovely weekend and the concert was great!
And guess what, it's taken me 5 months, but I finally pulled my finger out and had another crack at some fiction! It's
here if you'd like to have a look.

Word.smith,
Well, the older I get, the less I worry, because whatever glitches I'm worrying about will work themselves out or I will work them out as they come up. I find that the worst thing about worry is that sucks up the very energy that I need to deal with whatever problems do arise. Have faith in yourself that God will give you the strength to work out whatever glitches to do airse.

I try to take that attitude, but sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't. I figure as long as I am not hurting myself, or causing harm, it's going to be ok.

That's a workable criteria for evaluating whether to worry or not, except that if you take it far enough out there, i.e, "In 100 years, who will care?", we might get apathetic. On the other hand, there's the Scarlett O'Hara approach: "I'll Think about it tomorrow." Rain, rain, go away!

Worry means you are not at cause
being pro-active always beats worry. I've lived in the islands. A rain like you discribe is wonderful and shouldn't last very long. Have you seen my latest posts?

Most of the time the things we worry about turn out to not be nearly as bad as we'd thought. Enjoy the concert!

Good Post! We all do tend to worry about things that we can't control or things that relly won't make any differance in the future and it just adds stress to our already stressful lives. Have a great day and I hope the rain holds off and the concert goes on as planned.
