I Agree with Your Points
I happen to be a Christian myself, and I believe that there is nothing wrong with being nude. When I am alone in my apartment, I go around naked. Unfortunately, the Christian culture, as well as the world culture at large, is uptight about nudity, and, ironically, their ironclad strictures only serve to make nudity into a sexual thing.

I agree with WhiteJedi in that I wear clothes to protect against the elements; the snow can be a bit cold on the bare skin. I have no problem being naked, nor do I see it necessarily as a sexual thing. I wish more people could see past that. When I'm at home, I usually walk around naked and such. I'm most comfortable that way, a means to free myself. I also prefer wearing tighter clothes, because it feels more like an extra layer of skin rather than something just hanging there and bothersome.

yep
were nudity not so disparaged, more people would have a healthier atitude toward it.
it is only eating of that tree -- establishing mores -- that made nudity seem evil.
historically, many societies have accepted nudity.
the Polynesianpeoples had no problem with it until the Christian missionaries arrived and gave out the edict that it was evil
other peoples that we call primitive because they have not accepted yet the "advantages" of our civilizaton have no problem with nudity. maybe somebody here can check out studies of these S American and African tribes and compare the incident of sexual aberration among those societies to the "proper" Christian.
the seem to be satisfied and happy (just from a peremptory viewing of TV specials and National Geographics [and yes, I read National Geographic for the articles]).

Some good points Reverend Kooka. Personally, I regard clothing more as a form of protection against the elements and our enviornment than as a way to hide my body.
