MayB--
You're right--it's not wrong because it is what you have chosen...time will tell if you need to choose a different path but I hope you have much success on this one!

FionaJean, I did weigh up what the naysayers said. In fact I needed them to ensure I was making a balanced decision.
Egypt will still be there so it is not too later you know.

Aria4, I think it is very easy to let a job define us and it is fun to redefine ourselves

Flamethrower, thank you. There will always be small regrets but as long as they are outweighed it is OK

MayB...I'm not the type to tell people "I told you so." I believe
everything happens for a reason. I believe that you've thought long and hard on this and that your efforts and sacrifices will pay off. I'm proud of your courage. I'm proud of your willingness to search, seek, and discover what's out there for you. Congratulations! Congratulations, indeed.

Kuddos to you. Tell those naysayers to shove it. I am at a point in my life where I also want to make a similar change. You'll never get further in life without taking some risks. I'm currently regretting that I did the sensible thing and didn't go overseas years ago. I regret paying off the debt instead of taking the once in a lifetime trip to Egypt with the money I won in a competition.
Do what your heart tells you and best of luck. (I have a feeling though that you don't need any luck - You make your own.)

MayB-That is what happen to us when we try to hold on to security we will never know what is out there. I am here cheering you on to follow your dreams. I am a risk-taker so I do understand how you feel. I just left a secured job to where I am today. It was hard but I am happy. Happiness is more important than security. Take care and best of luck.

In my opinion it will be wrong for any one to try to say anthing on a dicision you have taken and is apperently enjoying it. However, questions will come if you start regreting. I like and admire courageous people. God Bless.
