Thanks for visiting, and for your comments.  I can truly relate to your not liking & nor enjoying "routine."  I prefer lots of variety to my day too.

Wow...great comments!  You're absolutely right...it's when we DO take a chance that we can really get things going.  Reminds me of the quote (not an exact one)...just jump off the cliff, you'll develop your wings on the way down.

Thanks for your comments & for visiting.  I wish you well on your task of setting your daily chores while NOT getting into a rut.  Somedays are easier than others, but I've found that if I can remember that a day is only 24 hours long (on those not so easy days), then I can get through it better.

I hate routines.
It's all I can do to go to work every day.  Can't add any more after that.  Thanks for a bit of cheer.

Raven -
Taking a chance. Taking a risk. Getting out of the rut. That's what energizes us. That's what gives us life. If we could just remember that, what a different world this would be.

It's always good to shake things up in your life...
...get out of the comfort zone.  It's funny, I'm trying desperately to establish a routine and shake things up at the same time...I totally relate to this.  You never know what new and wonderful things will happen unexpectedly.  Good thoughts. :)

Thanks.  It sounds like BOTH you and Sam had a good time.  When I was smaller (well, lately anything would be "smaller"...need to lose about 40-50 lbs.)...anyway, when I was much younger I always loved to play in the leaves.  There's something about jumping into a huge pile of those things...must be the complete abandonment of all cares & leaping feet first into joy.

What a beautiful post. I'm in that kind of a situation right now. I let Sam outside with me yesterday while I blew leaves. He got a shovel and was knee deep in them, having a ball. My wife was shocked that he stayed out there so long. It was a nice break from the routine.
