I've been there myself, and spent many moons blaming the other person.

I agree that when two people unite, and one feels that he/she has roped themselves into restrictions they find undesirable. . , that he/she has given up their freedoms on their own.

Sure. I will pray for your healing. But, you must believe that it can be a reality.

I've seen that used both ways. I think it's all corrupt.

Jeremy
The freedom you speak of is bound by what causes its existence to be. The freedom I speak of is not bound by conditions, but by removal of all self-imposed limitation. Yes, the freedom you speak of does exist. But that freedom also contains defensiveness and a lack of security, which is not really freedom at all.

And we are very good at doing that, aren't we?

Yes. And a gift that has no reality other than what one gives to it will cease to exist, unless both parties believe in its existence.

Thank you for reading. What you must not forget is that, Cindy Sheehans is profiting from the fact that, The Democrat are presently in a sort of sahara of ideas. Therefore, the Liberal press is using her as a fuel against the current administration.

avant--

another interesting, thought-provoking post. On freedom, Samuel said "Freedom is not something the human mind knows how to attain. It is only available to the level that your mind believes freedom exists."...I have begun posting what you asked for in my Seeing Beyond blog.

avant

you mean freedom by a realization.?

for example, if the government holds laws against people, and a person wants freedom from these laws, and these laws are removed, then that for a person is freedom from.

or if a person is locked in prison and not guilty, even if they are responsible for how they react, I dont believe passing all appearance and conditions is the way to see  in the world.that is not of this world.it seems to me.

Avant -
Freedom to heal is the greatest freedom of all - and the least accepted by those of us who torture ourselves relentlessly.

Avant-I do share the sentiment that a gift is between two people. Nice thought.

Knowing the difference is liberating in itself.

It's a shame that so many people don't choose freedom for themselves. We all limit ourselves in some way

Yes, the message is very simple, but very profound.

Avant garde -Yes - as you speak of freedom from 'false expectations', it brings this to mind: "Judge not, that ye be not judged."
