It is a rare commodity, indeed.

I think that peace is something that everybody takes for granted.

"The peaceful will give a smile back to a world that does not understand its purpose."

so very true. Today I allow myself to partake of peace, to step back from conflicts that are best not engaged in, and if I should by chance find myself embroiled in conflict that I failed to avoid quickly enough, I know I can choose peace, and I exit much faster. Your words are a place of peace for me.

Struggling creates the appearance of the thing being solid, impermeable, when in reality it does not exist.

Well,
let me just say that by not resisting the dark periods, they will continue to lose force and power over you. You will see them for what they are, and not feed them by trying to free yourself from them.

so you think there will always be...
lighter and darker periods?

I think the idea of permanency is a misnomer. Life is rhythm, and like gratitude, must have a contrast to be experienced. I think it is possible, though, to enter much calmer water through practice.

maybe peace is the most difficult to reach...
i mean...permanent peace

It is much easier. But, it is also easy to forget what is easy.

I read somewhere that the easiest thing for our nervous system is to dwell in infinite consciousness. It actually takes a massive amount of energy NOT to be enlightened..... it is much harder! Thanks for another great peace offering.
