Places like Whole Foods and Wild Oats are about the only places where you can find the gluten-free stuff, except here in the Chicago area; that radio host I referred to in other comments shops at someplace called the Gluten-Free Market. (They're on the Internet, BTW - I forget their Web address.)

kidny, After reading this
I'm thinking I should heed my Dr.'s advice and get a colonoscopy. Never had one and I'm well passed that age when you're supposed to start them. Also I'm seeing lots more "gluten-free" foods in our local WHOLE FOODS market.

Public awareness is indeed increasing!
We have a radio host here in Chicago with celiac disease, and he has done much to educate the public about it, even hosting programs dedicated to the problem.

kidneykid--
At least with depression, you don't have to get colonoscopies. I've heard of celiac disease, so it might be a little sexier than it once was. Soon we'll be seeing millions of drug company TV commercials about "asking your doctor" if Celiebegon is right for you.
