Gratitude often comes through loss. The important thing is to get what is being sent.

you know...
yesterday, i was so confident about being able to drink my cup of green tea or any hot drink (it was very cold outside) and when i came back home, they had cut the gaz off!!! Then i realized how much i was sometimes lucky (just to be able to get some hot water lol) while complaining about the lack of comfort in my appartment...do we need to miss things in life to realize how much important they are?

No. I sifted through some old writing, and found this piece. I was in a hurry this morning and was having trouble coming up with something. I'm actually feeling well today. Other than it's COLD outside.

I did that myself in '99. I left a place where I was nominated for paramedic of the year two years in a row. I had family and friends there. I came to North Carolina to have a wife and family. I've never regretted it. Good choice.

Yes, we are doing well. Snow! Wow, it's cold enough here to snow. It quit raining last night. It's about 35 here right now with the wind blowing. Hope you're doing well today.

Of course, you're my friend. Sometimes I flip through old poetry and find something that strikes home for the day. Thanks for the gracious comment.

I guess there's things we all have to realize while we're here, as stubbornly as we hold onto what appears real.

I'm at the place where I'll be relinquishing all I have here and that feels alright. I'm tired of "stuff". Good post my friend.

ah my friend (hope I can call you that!)...it depends upon what you are trying to create here, does it not? Your posts are wonderful, inventive, and most of all - inspiring & motivational. Is this not something to be desired? You have the ability to express incredibly powerful spiritual concepts with simplicity & economy of wordage...again, is this not to be desired? Your talent for writing is clear. You've moved & inspired many (including me). As for whatever else you are referring to...know that it is illusion. It is transitory. You are a valuable, spiritual person...you matter - you love others & are loved in return. Now, go & keep doing what you do best.
