Jo, I wouldn't say not.
To each his own.

Fiona,
That's very interesting. Some of us are able make up our minds what we want quickly. Me? I prefer to proceed cautiously. In your placed, I too would think twice about moving quickly again. Thanks for sharing. Catch you later.

I thought awwww when I read your comment. Isn't it just amazing the treasures we find when we aren't consumed with looking? Catch you later.

Quirky,
I guess that's something a small per centage of us ever get to experience.

Cass, I think that more can relate to lust at first sight,
than love at first sight.

When I first met my ex - husband, we fought
There seems to have been definate chemistry though. I met him through my best friend and apparently when Shirley showed him my picture, he said he was going to marry me. We did get engaged after 3 mths and married after a year. Overall - considering that we're now divorced, I don't really think I'll go head-over-heels so quickly again. Phillip & I are still friends though.

Word.smith,
I've experienced hormonal, wild rushes of attraction at first sight. But those never really were what I would call "love" and never went anywhere good. The relationship I'm in now, happened almost when I wasn't looking and continues to grow. Ironically, when it happened when I stopped looking and made God more important than anything else.

Yes I do believe in love at first sight, but I think in almost all cases it is probably a soulic experience.

I'm going to be cynical here - I don't know that I know what love is... therefore I'm not sure I believe in love at first sight. However I know lust at first sight is real.

I believe it
completely. My future wife came to an interview at the same company I was working at. As I saw her coming up the staircase afterwards I fell totally and completely in love with her and have felt the same way ever since. I can still see her as she was then and love the memory as well as the woman and mother she has become.

Libertine, I think that's
how it is for many of us, that strong connection. As to love, I haven't experienced that.

Thanks Bright.
I think slow and easy is good. Rushing in only guarantees that there will be quite a lot to learn about the other person at some point in the future, some of which you can't know until you're way in.

I don't know that I believe in it. I just don't think it's possible. I have experienced a strong connection that was basically instant, but not love at first sight.

Hi.. I agree with you. Love and all its characteristics need time to grow while you are learning about eachother.

up to the two people...
