If you do not hear about Muslims criticizing the violence of other Muslims, then you just must not get out much at all. Or maybe it is this liberal news you and other keep complaining about who just are not reporting on it. Sorry, but there are a large amount of Muslims who have been trying to say that their faith is not about violence and that those passage you talk of are just misunderstood. My father had a post a while back that linked to a page that took those passages and showed the truth of what they said, not just the one of two bits that most people use.

In fact I find that the Christians are generally in denial that anyone 'True Christians' would do such a thing and they try to come up with acceptable excuses for those actions, while the Muslims seem to just say that those extremist of their faith are just wrong and do not understand it, but they do not invent justification for it.

Just look at what you are trying to do here. You are trying to say that the Christians terrorist are not as bad as the Muslims ones, so we should not focus on them. You are trying to redirect the attention in order to protect people who claim to follow your faith, even if you do not agree with their actions. You are not addressing the points I have made about Christian terrorist being a bigger threat to you and me here in the U.S.A than the Muslims terrorists are.

Kooka, thanks for sharing those articles.  I skimmed through several.  Although there are great similarities between Christian and Islamic terrorists, one big difference in my mind is that the Koran does recommend violence if used to bring about peace (i.e. forced submission to Allah).  Jesus did not recommend violence.  Instead, he instructed his followers, when offended or falsely accused or harmed to turn the other cheek.

I would say another big difference is that I don't hear Muslims speaking out against the violence committed in the name of Allah.  I do, however, hear Christians speaking out all the time against the very non-Christian attrocities committed by other so-called Christians.

You haven't heard Christians speaking out against this senseless violence?  Well, then, just tune into Christian radio and there's a good chance you'll get an earful!

True Christians are not terrorists.
The term "Christian terrorist" is inaccurate. No genuine Christian is ever a terrorist. True Christians follow Jesus' example of forgiveness.

I do wish all the nut jobs out there would quit calling themselves Christian and giving Christianity a bad name.
