You are absolutely right and I may add that it some how the nature of human beings, but we have not fight to overcome it like any other short commings. However, the Problem in France is that, their leaders always claim they are different from others, at such it was never accepted that racism existed in France.

I don't care about the past any more, avant garde...
i am perfectly conscious that i cannot change what happened yesterday...but i can act now in the present for a brighter future...that's what i am trying to do:)

That is so beautiful. You are very blessed, but who can say that you don't deserve it. You seem to be a very caring and intuitive father.

Are they ever. They lean in and kiss him 20 times a day. Oh, the dogs. They are constantly checking on him. They come to us when he cries or makes any noise. He's in a house full of concerned babysitters.

Thank you, Avant.  Today has been touched with a magical feeling.  I'm glad your sons are adjusting to their new brother.

Live life without regret, let the moment wash away the past deeds done or undone, words said or unsaid.  Be in the moment, let the self die to itself as the river empties into the ocean of eternity, losing the form of itself.  Inspiring post, Avant-Garde. Best wishes to your family.

I agree

Merely being is the ultimate in here and now. It's the only place to find "God". Good post!

Ah, fantastic post.   I especially loved..."hold no regrets"...when we let go of our regrets it allows us to move on & be able to enjoy life.  Also loved "what there is enough of will be shared...the cup of plenty will remain filled to overflowing."  We can only give to others what we in fact have ourselves...and in so doing, as we empty the cup of life, we allow space for it to be filled instantly with what we need.  Your words inspire me so I can go out into the work-a-day world this morning.  (much needed on this Monday!).
