Kooka, interesting post...
I am a follower of Christ, not of Christianity and religion...if I'm ever hateful, please point it out because I'd want to remedy that about myself...thanks, bro.

You have proven to me too many times you do not understand love and hate at all. I hate no one at all myself. You hate everyone who's views are different. It has nothing to do with moral values and everything to do with how you treat others. You have shown that while you are polite and claim to be respect face to face with those you disagree with, that you will go and do all you can to make sure they are kept down and that all the negative ideas about them are as promoted as possible. Right there I am very much afraid I have much stronger sense moral values than you do and I show no hate at all, such ideas are purely based on hate. Feel free to stand up and state your beliefs openly, but do not oppress those you disagree with in doing so. If Christians were truly the victims and not the oppressors in most cases, I would be defending their rights to follow their beliefs. But as long as the keep oppressing others because of their hate for them, I will side with freedom and respect above all else.
All in all I am positive my moral values are stronger than yours and that my understanding of the ideas of love and hate are much clearer. I do not hate you, yet I shall never claim to love you. You just are going to be there. If you claim you or God loves me, then you only help to show your lack of understanding towards the concept. You hate me, you hate homosexuals, you hate atheists, you just hate. You deny this as hate, while you go around and promote that all homosexuals are evil or that all atheists are immoral, and are willing to do all you can to insure that those who do not share you views get as few freedoms as possible to be able to live as they choose. That is a strong hatred based off of fear.
And that is truth which you will deny and pretend is just me trying to attack you. I am just looking at how you have presented yourself here on Blogit, and I see much hate coming from you in the form of religious ideas. It is amazing at times how much hate can be generated from something as horribly written as the Bible and as poorly thought out as the Christian religion. I am only glad that more and more Christians are starting to pull away from the hate filled ideas of the traditional faith and starting to find their way. As long as you limit yourself by those weak ideas, you will never understand what love and hate really are.

Sorry, Kooka, but same drivel different day. Your defnition of hate is anyone who doesn't agree with you is hateful and, furthermore, anyone who has strong moral values that don't agree with your "anything goes" mentality is also hateful. Been down this road too many times with you. You cannot handle the truth about anything, or for that matter, a difference of opinion. I'm hateful in your eyes (and always forever will be) because I have had the audacity to stand up for my beliefs and to differ with you.

You have made it clear to me in the past that you do not understand just what hate really is, and so any comments you make take related to love or hate I can not take as being useful until you can prove you understand hate fro what it is and how it works.
Love and hate are so often just words people throw around in order to try and give the desired impression, yet too often those people do not understand the concepts at all and so any such usage of the words become meaningless.

Hate is a characteristic that all of humanity is capable of, whether religious or not. We would be well served to take the words of Jesus to heart: "You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.'
But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you . . . "
