muser.... re motivation
The one thing I study and study and study is motivation.
Fun, worth and friendship seem to be the biggest motivator for kids friendship
is at the top of the list.
Seems as though divide them into groups and you are half way there.
let them talk and you have them,

Marvelous stuff!
I see a bear... because of the mouth... the ears are not, I admit, bear-like... But there are all kinds of bears, too...

I have seen those exhibitions too. They are very spiritual.
I grew up an hervey Bay where the tide goes right out so that there is heaps of wet sand
We used to make elaborate cars boats...anything you could hop inside and act out on.
I love this way of teaching
Thanks for your comment

like a donkey. The kids could make the face anything they wanted so even fantasy was acceptable
(They find elephants hard.)

That is beautiful. I saw Buddhist monks once creating elaborate sand paintings. When they finished, they wiped the entire masterpiece clean. I learned a lot from that.

Jo--
Inspiration is what I get from this, though the sand animal looks to me like a donkey.
