Avant-garde, sometimes I do not even miss silence until it is suddenly present.  Then I marvel at how really wonderful it is.

Your gracious comments are well received. I do enjoy your posts as well. There are many here who listen when they know there is no pressure to accept or be anything other than themselves.

The silence is the envelope of truth and safety. Sometimes when I read the words of great souls, it seems like they know that not even wise words can break the silence and so their words do not struggle to be heard. That's why their great.

For what its worth, I think your writings are very in tune with this truth. I find myself having to concentrate a little harder when I read your posts, as if having to listen intently to a softer sound than usual. I believe your writings to have sobriety, humility and subtlety. In today's day and age of loud TV and flashing neon signs, many can only hear the gross noise. However, there are still many who can hear the subtle emanations. Keep doing what you do.

Avant-garde...

I've just been reading back a couple of posts and read about your new baby boy.  Congratulations to you, your wife, and young boys.  Babies are wonderful and I can see you enjoy your's.

For what it's worth, and coming from someone who is not a writer, but enjoys trying, I think you write very well, sincere, and interesting.  I'll be back for more of your writings and enjoy reading them, I' m sure.

Congrats again of that beautiful baby boy and thanks for visiting my blog.  I have another blog, it's a journal and it's called "Wake up, Maggie".  God bless.

You're welcome. There is so much in silence, describing it would be self-defeating.

Wonderful & beautiful post.    Thanks for the reminder about the "sounds of silence."  (something & somewhere I need to go much more often!).

Thank you so much. I have to give God the credit for it. I am merely an instrument through which it comes.
