You know, I just never listen
to the advice of the Pope, or anyone else.  Yes- sometimes I miss out on good advice, but I'm not an idiot. I don't ask anyones permission to have sex or procreate.  I don't care what the Pope has to say.  I think the funny thing about people is they look for a closer connection to God in others who they see as "Holy", but really, iconic figures to me are just not Holy.  I could be wrong, but that's my choice.  Anyway, very interesting blog. Have a nice weekend

Yep Curator....you hit that one on the ball....many couples are now opting for just one child - two is a luxury. Though there are government incentives that pay couples 1,000 Euro when a child is born - how long will that last? A month maybe?

And also, many people are leaving the country as well, especially university researchers. They are overworked, underpaid and after years of service they can't ever get a full-time contract cause, unfortunately, when it comes to job competions....it's not who you know, but who you know....

And then there's those of us who are so beyond the pale we decided not to have any on purpose!  Can't wait to hear what he has to say 'bout that.  Other than "You're a bad person," which believe me, I already hear all the time.

I had read that Italy is depopulating, between low birth rate and emigration for better opportunities elsewhere.

just look at him......it's  like he's saying: I can't shag, so you can't either! No, strike that....Since I chose not to shag, you shouldn't all the same!

What business is it of the Pope to get in a couple's bedroom anyway?
