I know, Quirky,
it is fascinating.  I hadn't heard the dream story before, but it certainly adds to the mystique.  I need to find out how much, if anything, Stoker knew about Vlad the Impaler.

This was fascinating. Poor Bram Stoker, he didn't get to see what a spectacular character he created, but the legacy will live on forever.

Thank you both for reading!
I do enjoy history, although terrible at memorizing dates.   I was interested in the parallels to our current national situation, although I would never, ever compare Bush to Lincoln.  I also love Dracula and Gone With the Wind, so this was a great day.

The reporter said to Mrs Lincoln, " Yes, but apart from that, Mrs Lincoln, did you enjoy the play?" His name should have been Mudd after that crack
