Benn there, done that.
Then I learned to think for myself. I won't align myself with any political party. I try to decide based on current candidates, issues, platforms, etc. It's very difficult because there is so much propaganda and conflicting reports, but the information is all there if one cares to look. Now I don't discuss politics with my father.

a straight Republican ticket in my local election this morning, Oh My!

Geeez! How do you think this woman's family would feel if she
turned Democrat? Do you think the poltical differences would divide the family? The majority of my family are Demos...I avoid family, political conversations!
