SilverMoon, how totally COOL. I love stories like this.
Please keep me posted on new ones. Best thing to do is continue being nonchalant when he mentions stuff like this cause you know how kids can be; when adults seem more interested than usual, they may tend to exaggerate things. So, if you act semi-interested but keep him talking, they always seem more likely to respond honestly. Please let me know of other stories. If you give me permission, I may ask for your green light to use them in my book...with or without your name (whichever you choose.) Kewl stuff here! Thanks for sharing!!

a few weeks ago,we were walking home from kindergarten, and my five-year-old son was chattering away to himself.  I asked him who he was talking to, and he said some friends of his, and that they were two or three children who had followed him from his last kindergarten to the one he attends now, when we moved.  He said he doesn't see them all the time, only sometimes.  In the last few months, I've also noticed him paying attention to things that don't appear to be there.  Once I asked him what he saw.  He said, "A person."  I asked if that person spoke to him.  He said yes.  Then I asked what the two of them talk about.  He said, "I'm not supposed to tell you.  You're not supposed to know."  Two or three years ago, we had both awakened in the night--2 am or so--and I saw him looking toward the doorway.  He kept looking over there, so finally, I asked him what he saw.  "A lady," he told me.  "What's she doing?"  "Just standing there, looking."  I really think my son might be sensitive.  He also catches thoughts out of my head, sometimes, and responds to them without my having said anything.  A couple weeks ago, I was running some errands with him, and made a last-minute stop.  "Why are we stopping here?"  "I need to check on something."  "Are you getting tea?"  "Yes, I'm looking for tea here."  "How did you know that?"  "I don't know, I just did."  "Good for you," I said.  "You keep doing that."

I believe my oldest boy, Sam, sees things that we cannot. He speaks to no one in his room, and tells me that pa-pa talks to him. My father has been deceased since '89, but I believe he is around us much of the time.
