One thing I don't miss from nursing

is the need to be on the ball.  Teaching lil' kids you need to be on the ball but in a gentle fun way.

There is responsibility but not quite the same kind as nursing.  I have checked in your next post and decided to read it when I am less hurried.  Somethings need to read properly.

Great stuff,

Jo

Hi Taps, it's a little more gory than your normal fare.  I'll be posting again soon.  Thanks for stopping by!

JanesOpinion, I read this yesterday and should have commented then but decided to wait for the rest of it.  I came back to see if there was more yet.   I am waiting for the rest.

Hi Jo,

I loved working in this particular ICU, and every now and then I let my mind wander back to ponder some of the events that occurred.  It was a very busy place (normally) and we never, ever knew what to expect on any given night.  I suppose you could say it's cathartic or, on the other hand, I suppose you could say I'm reliving some of the more high adrenaline moments.

Thanks for stoppin' by!

Hmmm

You are stirring up old memories.  Is writing about it cathartic for you?
